Bamboon is a producer and live beat maker focused on taking his craft from the studio to the stage. Originally from South Florida, he began producing music as a teenager, heavily influenced by artists like AraabMuzik, DJ Shadow, and Madlib. Later on, he ventured to the West Coast to expand his musical career. In the Bay Area, he got his start performing at street shows and house parties that were a part of the vibrant music scene in the area. During this time, he put his work on Instagram, and was able to amass a following of dedicated fans. Nowadays, his platform reaches hundreds of thousands of people who are captivated by his live beat work and mixing abilities. Bamboon has become one of the foremost artists of the increasingly popular “phonk” genre, a high energy, louder version of the classic Memphis rap styles. With a stacked lineup of Fall shows in the Seattle area, Bamboon is looking to bring his performance on the road and reach fans across America for a slated summer 2022 tour.
